Bianchi Race Pedigree 2020 | Team Jumbo-Visma
Bianchi bikes are represented by world tour team Jumbo Visma in the pro peloton. The Team is home to big names such as Primoz Roglic, a well-known GC rider as well as more recently Wout Van Aert a cyclo-cross legend who has turned his attention to the road. The best result for Roglic this season was winning the Vuelta Espania which as a grand tour is one of the three toughest races on the entire road race calendar. With an off-road pedigree, winning multiple cyclo-cross world championships, Wout Van Aert finished 3rd in the Strada Bianche on his first attempt and then surprised all as he went on to win multiple stages in the Dauphine as well as the Tour De France. This demonstrates that Bianchi bikes are a world class bike brand, enabling these as well as many other pros to perform and win in the world’s biggest races.
Whats new in the Bianchi 2020 model year?
Bianchi Sprint: This is Bianchi’s traditional road bike with a full carbon frame. The bike accompanies any type of rider whether you are just starting out or are ready to race. Due to the qualities of this bike with a carbon frame, forks and disc brakes this will improve the riding experience for any rider. With this bike they created wider clearance on the forks and changed the shape of the tubing used on the bike with the result of this being that the ride quality is improved.
Bianchi Infinito XE: Infinito XE is Bianchi’s all day bike and is therefore built for the comfort of the rider. It is the perfect bike for long rides, sportifs and Gran Fondo’s. The carbon frame ensures comfort so that you are able to ride all day without issue. The bike also has discs for excellent braking matched with thru axles both front and rear so that the braking does not provide any stress on the frame due to the thru axle system being more stable. The Infinito therefore maximises performance and aesthetics with internal cable throughout the bike.
Bianchi Via Nirone 105: This bike is cheaper than its counterparts yet the quality of the of the frame is similar to that of the Infinito XE with the same BAT technology which is how Bianchi have provided stiffness within their frames through the design of the rear chainstays. This allows for the most efficient power transfer through the frame. Finally, this is the only entry level bike which has been used at the Paris Roubaix pro race which demonstrates the endless capabilities of the bike.
