Colnago C68 Disc Frameset | Contact Us for Availability
Colnago C68 Lugs & Frame: The number of parts that complete the frame is the same as with the previous C series (C64). Even though from an aesthetics point of view, its lines and styling may be more similar to that of a frame manufactured in one piece. There are still some visible joints on the C68 to trace back to our root, while other joints would appear invisible due to the new streamlined design.
Colnago C68 Headtube: The new split headtube is now stronger, lighter and more customizable than ever. The new layout allows stack and reach variations, along with improved stiffness for an enhanced riding experience.
Colnago C68 Fork: The fork changes from the previous TFS 'D' shape with the complex internal rib and the full length bonded metal thread bolt for a much simpler, elegant and lighter round 1"1/8 tube. To run the brake housing inside we have adopted a special patented eccentric headset system, without having to use the larger cumbersome and heavy 1.5" bearing. Colnago C68 Bottom Bracket : The C68 now boosts a revised bottom bracket, with the switch from our previous TF82.5 to a more "standard" and easy to find T47. The system works the same way, with an oversized bb shell and internal bearings housed in alloy threaded cups. You can assemble your C68 with a standard BB from Sram and Campagnolo, while you can use premium products such as Ceramic Speed, Chris King and many other offerings for compatibility with Shimano 24mm axles.
Colnago C68 Integrated Multitool: Returning to a round steerer tube allows us to put a touch of "we ride too" into the bike. Everyone needs, at some point, a multitool to face every small adjustment that may be required during an epic or not so epic ride (like a flat tire). So we integrated that tool into the headset top cap. Rotate and pull, that's it.
Colnago C68 Other Features: The frame weight for a raw size 485 is around 925gr, just 10gr more (935gr) for the titanium version.

FAQ's:
Northern Ride | Frequently Asked Questions Please see below for many of the frequently asked questions. This area is designed to provide you with additional information prior to ordering online or before contacting us about your bike, customisation and pricing.
Availability: If a bike is showing as 'available' this means it is either in stock with us or at our suppliers warehouse; the delivery time when available is usually 3-5 working days. If there is a pre-order date this means the bike is currently not in stock or available at our suppliers and the next availability will be from that specific pre-order date; the delivery time will then be 3-5 working days from the pre-order date (please not on occasions pre-order dates can alter due to component availability).
Pre-Order: To pre-order a bike you simply need to use the 25% deposit code 'DEPOSIT25' during checkout. This will secure the bike with a 25% deposit with the rest payable prior to collection or delivery.
Competitive Pricing: We will simply offer you a competitive price across our range of bikes to every customer, every day of the year, not just during promotions. In addition to a competitive price, you will also receive our high level of service; check out our 5 stars google rating from recent reviews.
Price Match: We will endeavour to price match or even beat a price offered by other retailers based on their price and level of service. The majority of our bikes go out with some level of customisation (eg: wheelset upgrade, component size, gear ratios, tyre upgrades etc.) and this often provides better value than a discount. In addition, all our road bikes receive a complimentary Bike Fit on collection and we spend lots of time explaining the setup during collection too. If you have a bike you would like us to beat the price on you can complete our form here.
Finance: We offer 0% finance over 12 months, 4.9% finance over 18 months or 9.9% finance over 24 months. If you would like to enquire for a bike on finance you can contact us with the details using our finance application form here and we will email you an application. Alternatively you can come and see us at the shop and we will go through the finance application with you, see what you need to bring here.
Cycle to Work Scheme: A great way of saving money on your bike is using the cycle to work scheme. There are various schemes available to purchase your new bike and are usually unlimited in value. Some initiatives have a cap, however some also allow you to 'top-up' on your cycle to work scheme voucher allowing you to add money and purchase a higher value bike. Contact us for more details if you would like to use a cycle to work voucher as part of your purchase. If we don't currently do the initiative your employer offers we will simply sign up to it.
Customisation: We customises the majority of bikes that leave us in some way from fitting altering gear ratios to upgrading wheelsets. Use our enquiry form to contact us about customisation here.
Delivery & Shipping: The majority of our customers come to the shop to collect their bikes and receive a Bike Fit and setup advice. However if you are too far away or don't have time to collect we will simply send the bike to you, securely packed and insured. The bike will usually just require the bars tightening and front wheel inserting; setup advice will be sent via email to help you with this.
